I've been a semi-regular customer for a couple of years (1-2 visits per month), and until now have been willing to overlook shortcomings in the quality of the facilities for the sake of convenience. However, during my last visit, the owner decided to walk two of her female friends through the facilities during business hours. They peered through the sauna windows, poked their heads into the steam rooms, etc., with absolutely no regard for clients' dignity or privacy. At one point, she apologized to me and called me "sweetie." I don't know wtf she was thinking, treating a men-only spa like it's some sort of petting zoo or peep show, but it was enough to lose me as a customer.

What an awful experience! I wanted some peace and quiet in a sauna and what I got was something really disturbing. Another sauna guest approached me and tried to touch my groin area and I told them "F**k off or I'll kick your a**." When I told the front desk they refused to issue a refund, although I'd barely been in there 5 minutes when the incident occurred. Update: The front desk took my call and explained they cannot issue refunds, and that this problem has occurred numerous times but they are trying to deal with it. Long story short: don't go there unless that's what you're looking for.
