Id gone to her after seeing her work, which was great. She clearly has talent. She was 45 minutes late then walked in the door with a bad attitude, as if she had that right. She never even apologized for that lateness. The women in Atlanta are so used to these people (who we are paying), to either show up late or at the time of that person's appointment. It's absolutely ridiculous. The sad part is that these ladies don't see that they deserve more respect and more consideration as clients. This woman was angry because I'd made reference to being on time. She'd lied about there being a car accident, then got upset when I tried to Google it. She'd called me with an elaborate lie that there was an accident with a fatality and there was not. Just another person deciding to show up when they want to, because they don't care, and some of us won't voice the concern. They will keep right on accepting this unacceptable behavior. When Id called her the week before to schedule, she said "I wasn't taking anymore clients but, I've just started to again because some of my clients have moved to other states". So, you're good. I was extremely appreciative. While in her chair.....she'd kept on twisting my neck very aggressively, and I have arthritis in my neck, of which Id stated to her. She was upset at that point because...I was asking about my hair, the accident and a few other things. She doesn't like to be questioned on anything, and you can't expect people to not ask them, when doing your hair for the first time. The other woman who was in there validated all that Id said as far as the lateness but, didn't even realize it. She corrected her statement actually, to fit J Glams narrative on being late and It was amazingly insane, that all of that waiting and showing up when she does as a client is ok. Amazing! A classic example of a stylist taking advantage of her clients. They're notorious for it here in Atlanta and it's just sad. Smh! Id heard that "J" was going around saying that id written a negative comment because she didn't want me to come back. Lol.... No, that wasn't hardly it. It was already assumed that I was her new client on the day that Id made the initial appointment. What happened was....once Id left the salon (although, she was late, lied and bothered me a little....)...I was still going to go to her until Id find someone new. Her talent isn't the issue, so I had to suck it up until I found someone of my expectational requirements and desires. So, once again she's lying. That negative review was because of her lateness of 45 minutes, the lack of an apology, the lie that there was an accident, her attitude when asked a question and her lack of professionalism. That's why the negative review. When Id called her to make the appointment for the next week...she was all revved up and ready to shoot. Lol.... Ummmm....Im not taking any new clients, after she'd specifically told me that she would take me. Her mind was changed because I spoke my mind on her lateness, asked questions about my hair and asked her not to cut too much. The look that she gave me after I'd told her that was "GIRL, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING TO"?! SHE WAS MAD! A stylist who can't be questioned, shows up when she decides to and/or feels like it because she'll lie when she gets there, because "what the heck"....they'll wait! Her talent speaks for itself but, as a client who pays....she needs to show up on time out of respect for that client and her business for that matter. She needs to not get nasty and offended by someone asking questions, and see that as a good thing. Some of us are intrigued by the talents of these women so answering a question should make her proud and feel good about what she does. But, when you're dealing with arrogance and someone who is pompous....she is who you'll get. Ladies, you don't have to tolerate your stylist showing up late
