About Highland Yoga - Westside
Highland Yoga is an Atlanta-based studio with locations in Virginia Highlands, Memorial Drive, Buckhead, Decatur, and Westside. The classes are powerful and unique, combining vigorous flow, creative sequencing, and mindfulness practices - all with a focus on true breath-to-movement style vinyasa. Through this practice, students will develop a mind, body, and spirit connection that empowers them to find their strongest self. The studio believes that good things come to those who sweat, which is why the studios are heated to 93 degrees. The Westside location is an excellent yoga studio with amazing yoga teachers. The classes are all levels, from beginner to experienced yogi, and the teachers range from very good to simply excellent. The location is convenient, with plenty of parking. Yoga has helped students rehab themselves and stay mobile, especially those with chronic injuries. The studio is clean, welcoming, and relaxing, with complimentary towels, mats, and blocks available. Students of all skill levels practice together without any feelings of judgment or self-consciousness, which helps motivate them to focus on form, breathing, and trying new things. The instructors, like Megan, are upbeat, motivating, and go the extra mile to ensure everyone gets the most out of their practice.
I’ve been practicing at highland yoga since 2018 and have been to a number of their locations across the city. Each one is always clean. The westside location is the one closest to me and so happy that they added this location a few years back.
I recently joined Highland Yoga and mainly go to the Westside location. I'm now ADDICTED to hot yoga! They have the best instructors, tons of locations, and convenient class times. Best yoga studio in Atl area!
This is an excellent yoga studio with amazing yoga teachers. Every class is all levels, from beginner to experienced yogi. The teachers range from very good to simply excellent. I certainly have my favorite teachers but they are all very good. The location is good, too. At Collier and Howell Mill it is very convenient for me. Just two left turns off of I75. Also, there's plenty of parking.I'm coming back to a regular yoga practice after a couple of car wrecks. Yoga has strengthened my back and given me a wider range of motion. I've been left with a couple of chronic injuries. Doing yoga at Westside gives me the opportunity to rehab myself and stay mobile.I recommend Highland Yoga to anyone in the yoga community, whether you are brand new or have years of experience.
