Beyond Therapy is a healthcare facility that has received mixed reviews from its patients. One patient, who was seeking treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS), had a particularly negative experience with a healthcare provider named Jacqueline Rosenthal. The patient felt that Jacqueline was unresponsive and did not listen to their concerns, often keeping them on medications that were not effective. The patient also reported that Jacqueline compared them to a blind person, which the patient found to be insensitive and disrespectful. The patient was eventually discharged from the facility due to the issues with Jacqueline, but they still recommend the Shepherd Center, the larger organization that Beyond Therapy is a part of, as they found the inpatient program to be excellent. On the other hand, another patient who had suffered from a spinal injury and paralysis, had a positive experience with the healthcare professionals at Beyond Therapy. The patient's parents heard about Shepherd Center through a family member and were impressed with the care and support they received, including assistance with housing. The patient underwent a successful surgery performed by Dr. Murray, a surgeon at Shepherd Center, and found that the combination of rehabilitation and the expertise of the healthcare team at Beyond Therapy was instrumental in their recovery. Additionally, a third patient who was seeking treatment for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) reported that they had a positive experience with the ALS Formula treatment from Aknni Herbs Centre, which they found to be tremendously helpful in improving their walking balance, appetite, and muscle strength. Overall, the reviews of Beyond Therapy are mixed, with some patients expressing satisfaction with the care they received, while others had negative experiences with specific healthcare providers. The Shepherd Center, the larger organization that Beyond Therapy is a part of, seems to have a strong reputation for providing high-quality care and support to its patients.
If I could give her a 0, I would. I do not recommend Jacqueline Rosenthal to anyone with MS! Jacqueline seems like she wants to help but she does not help at all. My first time meeting her was in May 2024 & I didn’t even hear or see from her again til February of 2025, 9-10 months later. I had to make my own appt because my symptoms were worsening, with several hospitalizations. I respectfully acknowledged my frustration with her during my February appt. She apologized for dropping the ball, since I was a new patient she was side tracked. Jacqueline constantly kept me on medication that I advised her wasn’t working, but she still required me to take it. My last appt was May 2, 2025 & still again I’m telling her my medications aren’t helping my symptoms at all, but still told me to take it. I advised to her that I wanted to file for my disability & she compared me to a blind man, saying even they don’t get it when needed but I’m not blind at all. Everyone knows how disability works, there’s no guarantee. You will be denied the first time, that’s what appeals are for. I kept iterating to Jacqueline that I felt she wasn’t listening & that she was the problem & not Shepherd Center. She purposely put in my medical records that Shepherd was the problem. Jacqueline sent in the clinic manager, Rebecca Duguid who verbally attacked me & disrespected me because I addressed Jacqueline by her FIRST name, something I’ve always do since May of 2024. Rebecca stated that I was pissing her off & to respect Jacqueline, when all I’ve done is respect her. I’ve never called her out of her name of have been disrespectful at all! Now that Jacqueline is upset that I’m respectfully telling her that she isn’t listening to my call & cry out for help, she feels disrespected that I’m addressing her by her first name ? Shouldn’t she have corrected me day 1 if it was a form of disrespect. Mind you, all of my mail that comes to my house has my moms name on it, not mine. I’m still getting letters to this day with my moms name & I’m the patient. I was discharged by Shepherd because of Jacqueline & Rebecca. The inpatient program at Shepherd was immaculate! No bad words at all but Jacqueline Rosenthal of the MS Clinic @ Shepherd Center needs a definite reality check. Just because she obtained her degree in the military, she DEMANDS respect, although she doesn’t respect patients. I’ve never met a doctor that forces their title upon their patients. I earned my name at BIRTH but yet every letter has Sandra, not Sandrea. I’ve sent several letter to the Utilization Committee & Amendment of my Medical Records regarding this issue but I’ve yet to receive a response & when I do, it’ll have Sandra instead of Sandrea. Shepherd is a great facility! I still love & respect the Shepherd Center. I recommend the Shepherd Center to any & everyone! Jacqueline Rosenthal is who & what I do NOT recommend.
I had an L1 burst fracture and an C2 displacement fracture. My parents were at a loss, but heard of Shepherd through a family member. They took care of my families housing. After paralysis from waist down for what seemed like a long time Dr. Murray from Shepherd performed a lumbar fusion with Herrington rods and a six week halo. Had it not been the combination of rehab and their next level surgeons is be worse than what I was. God led me to these professionals. They are the best of the best. Saddens me everyone doesn't have the care these people can provide. Thank you Dr. Murray,
