Upper Cutz is a beloved barber shop that has been a part of many customers' lives for years. The shop, which was run by Mr. Dewey Sheets when it first opened, is now managed by Mark and his team. Customers appreciate the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, which makes them feel like they've been going there for years even if it's their first visit. The staff are skilled at their craft and provide excellent service, taking the time to give helpful suggestions for each customer's unique needs. They are able to provide a range of styles, from modern cuts to traditional shaves, and are known for their interesting conversations and camaraderie. I've been going to this same Barber Shop since I was in 6th grade. I'm now 43 years old. Mr. Dewey Sheets ran it while I was young, and Mark and his team acquired the shop once Mr. Sheets retired. I have been around this crew of skillful men and women most of my life. I have seen many employees come and go, but this is my home Barber Shop. The company and atmosphere are great. I look forward to every haircut when I come to Uppercutz. Not only is the atmosphere great, these cats can cut some hair, and service is great! 5 big stars to Uppercutz!
I got my hair cut here for the first time ever as an adult. They were very helpful and gave me useful suggestions for the cut I was going for and my head shape. It was very enjoyable atmosphere as well, a sense of camaraderie filled the air as if I had been going there for the past 5 years and it was only my first time. They make you feel welcomed, but make sure you book an appointment before time.
Great group of guys! Interesting discussions that I've enjoyed over the years!! Actually learned something from Mark about my heritage!! Maybe shouldn't name call but I believe you'll get a professional cut and shave if you like. Also have seen younger guys get all the designs and odd cuts you see on some of the younger and they also have the ability to offer our seniors with the old style shave!! Sure you'd enjoy your experience like I do!!
