My 11 year old daughter fell backwards at dance and hurt her wrist. We iced it for a few days and gave her Tylenol. It wasn’t getting better, so we took her to her doctor and they took X-rays and diagnosed it as a sprain and said to rest it and take pain killers. After a couple of weeks she was still experiencing sharp, debilitating pain in her wrist. I have received Chiropractic care from Dr. Jim for twenty years and I mentioned to my wife that I wanted him to look at her wrist. I wasn’t one to go to chiropractors until last August, on a Friday of all things, when my sciatica made me practically immobile. My husband drove me to Dr. Jim’s office, Heritage chiropractor, but the doctor was just locking up for the weekend. He looked up at me sitting in the car and opened the doors back up. I could barely shuffle my feet in and about 30 min later I was walking out with minimal pain. I haven’t had any issues with my back since! I recommend you give Dr. Jim a try if you are bothered with anything at all. He has not only helped me recover successfully from a bad fall (when the orthopedic doctors had done all they could) but he has even helped with arthritis is my thumb. That was a bonus. He just started treating me thumb , much to my objection (at first….it hurt) but now it’s almost pain free. The hip pain from the BAD fall is for the most part gone. I have seen a chiropractor on and off all my life, he has by far helped me more than any other. I am so thankful and grateful to have been recommended to him.
