I've heard that a reliable gauge of a great haircut is how it looks one week afterwards. If that's accurate, then I got a really terrific cut from Diane at Cowlix. Once upon a time I had pretty good hair. Fine, but lots of it and semi-controllable. Fast forward, there's now much less--still a lot compared with a lot of dudes my age--but it's gotten thinner and finer ( if that's possible), exposing the land of a thousand cowlicks that it is (no pun intended). So it's difficult to cut and seems to challenge some of the best stylists. I tried Cowlix at My wife's prompting, and happy that I did. Located in Suite 254 in the Solana Spa building on Mansell, Cowlix is easy to get to with plenty of parking available. The whole experience was pleasant...Diane's a good conversationalist as well as a talented stylist. I hesitated to leave a review because I really don't want her getting covered-up busy where it gets tough to book and appointment t But it's fair to say I highly recommend Diane and Cowlix. One thing worth noting for readers. They don't accept cards, so bring cash or Venmo.

Wayne and Diane are both fantastic and extremely competent. They also have a good eye when it comes to getting a cut that really matches your face.It is a little no frills space, but absolutely worth checking out.
