I was in constant pain for nearly a year and PT was not helping. Finally, got diagnosed with a labrum tear in my hip and started the process of interviewing surgeons. Hands down I felt the most comfortable speaking with Dr Potts regarding surgery and he was very confident he would be able to help alleviate my nerve pain and restore my quality of life. The recovery was pretty intense but now 7 months post op I am not living in constant pain anymore and my quality of life has significantly improved. Also I’m not a young athlete, at 42 years old , but the surgery and recovery process was totally worth it to be able to exercise again and live my life without constant pain!!!...read full review

I’m 22 years old. I tore the labrum in my hip pole vaulting. Dr. Potts was outstanding from the beginning. The first time we met to discuss my injury he explained every issue and option to me. We decided together surgery was my best option for the activity level I like to maintain. Dr. Potts walked me through every step of the surgery. Surgery day, Dr. Potts double checked to make sure I didn’t have any questions before the surgery. After my surgery, he explained exactly what he did and how he did it with pictures because I asked. Following surgery, Dr. Potts was very involved in my recovery process. Dr. Potts has phenomenal bedside manner and ability to convey injuries....read full review
