Reedy Plumbing Review for 4/24/2025 We live adjacent to a golf course and the slope of the land from our back yards (mine and our neighbor) slopes down and then back up to the golf course “rough.” The slope created a “holding area” for accumulated water whenever we have a heavy rain and the water does not drain. There is a storm collection drain at the end of my neighbors back yard and our fix action, before the “Reedy Plumbing Solution” was to take the small pump we purchased, run two hoses to the collection point and spend hours moving the pump to collect and remove the standing water. This standing water also created some “ugly” spots in our back yards. We contacted Clint Paskert of Reedy Plumbing, and showed him the issue, wherein Clint walked the 108 feet and determined there was a good amount of water just under the surface; that when you walked on the ground the bottom of your shoes would get wet. Given Hillsborough County denied the storm collection drain did not belong to the county, we checked with the course, advised what our plan was to correct the problem (which will also stop their mowing machine from getting stuck) and with their concurrence contracted with Reedy Plumbing to install the fix action recommended by Clint. It took three-months for the ground to absorb the excess water so that when the Reedy Plumbing Team came yesterday to install two collection points and 108-feet of piping to the storm collection point they would not have to deal with ground water – which turned out to be exactly what happened. Clint advised that the installation of the two collection points and the 108-foot piping had to be done at a downward slope to the storm collection point. This required, by hand, the careful removal of the grass/dirt to a depth of a couple of feet. Then as they laid the pipe, they used a bubble level to ensure the entire length of the pipe to include the second collection point towards the storm collection drain was in fact in a downward slope. This required either removing more dirt and/or adding dirt to achieve their goal. Then they finished the project by reinstalling the grass/dirt that they removed and left the area as they found it, albeit, in much better shape! The Reedy Plumbing Team stayed on task all day until the project was done and done professionally. This also demonstrated the excellent expertise of the Reedy Plumbing organization in dealing with ‘plumbing issues’ even if not associated directly with your home. Bottom line, an estimate was provided and then honored, the team was professional, friendly, and stayed on task the entire time – you cannot go wrong if you contract with Reedy Plumbing to work any plumbing issues.
