Dean cuts the hair for my family. We look forward to seeing him. Dean is skilled and experienced. He has also managed two salons so he knows what he’s doing. He is reliable, responsive and conscientious. The salon where he operates has been there over 40 years. They have survived when others failed. That means the owners are competent and the customers loyal. There is an abundance of parking. The owners are always present and actively engaged with the customers. There are no strangers in this salon. Everyone there cares about the customers, each other and what they are doing. We are fortunate to be customers.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Lissette. I was quite nervous at first as I have only ever had haircuts by mom & family friend. I also have really bad social anxiety. As I sat in Lissette’s chair, the environment was such a vibe. Cozy, calm, not overwhelming at all. Lissette was extremely pleasant. I went in for a haircut and I have super thick curly hair that I had neglecting since becoming a new mom. She reassured me she would take care of it. The consultation versus the result was 100% accurate. I asked for my hair to be shoulder length CURLY. And that’s exactly what I got! She took her time, was focused, obvious good skill and explained to me every step of the way what she was going to be doing and the reason why. Having anxiety, I felt very comfortable the salon is so nice and clean. Lissette was such a breath of fresh air as finding someone who understands curly hair is sooo difficult. I highly recommend her, thank you Lissette! Love my hair !!

I have enjoyed this salon for over ten years. I always receive top notch services and I am thrilled with my results. Roseli is a perfectionist. Her clients always leave looking amazingly well coiffed and happy. I read one recent review (by Donna) that was critical of the salon, and I must respond because I was the other client receiving services when Donna came in. I can verify exactly what occurred. Donna was scheduled for a FREE consultation, not a paid service, yet she arrived 15 or 20 minutes LATE. As a result, Roseli had already started my hair when Donna strolled in, and Roseli declined to interrupt my service, and asked Donna to wait. Donna was very impatient at her perceived neglect (apparently unconcerned about interrupting and inconveniencing me, a long term and paying client). After waiting huffily for a few minutes, Donna asked about coffee, and Roseli offered to make her some to enjoy during the brief further wait while she concluded my service. At that point, without any response or explanation, Donna stormed out, leaving us baffled. Donna appears to be a self-centered, entitled and difficult person, so I suggest you disregard her poisonous negative review. You will love your hair if you see Roseli!

I met Michael Leigh, From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles and made to feel comfortable Michael and I talked about color and everything else. He is such a delight !!! But even better he is a marvelous colorist! I am so very Happy with my color and the new friendship ! I look forward to going back! Thank you Michael!
if there was a way to give more than five stars, I absolutely would! I reached out as a first time client based on the reviews and photos I found about Joey and Maverick's barbershop, falling perfectly in line with what I was looking for: someone who had precision scissors skills. I have worn a short textured pixie cut for over 30 years. I have gone to everything from Short Hair "masters" and and well known stylists and never have come close to the phenomenal cut I got from Joey. More than his incredible skills, was the amazing customer service. I reached out for an appointment and indicated that the following day was my birthday and I was hoping for an appointment sooner than later. Immediately his wife answered and booked me the following day. I found out after the fact that they normally don't book at the time slot they gave me, but he made an exception for me as a first-time client and I cannot tell you enough words how appreciative I was that he did that for me. The entire time in the chair, Joey listened, but moreso he explained in detail every step of the way, the entire process not only what he was doing, but why. Joey has a wonderful personality, and his wife was so kind and sweet and accommodating that there are not enough good things I can say about Mavericks. I walked out of the Salon with such a huge smile on my face as you can clearly see in the picture! It's one thing for people to complement you on a great haircut but when you actually feel beautiful when you look in the mirror, that's priceless! Thank you Joey and the Mavericks team.

I've been coming to Abood since before Carved opened. He suggested a fade cut at my first visit, which I still have. I enjoy the shaves, which are relaxing. Staff are talented & friendly. I look forward to my biweekly visits.
Life savers! I'm in town on vacation and I couldn't get my haircut with my barber before I left. I came to Dudes Barber to get a haircut and they were able to fit me in. John was an absolute rock star! I walked in looking rough (I wish I took a before and after picture but I wouldn't have posted it either way lol) and came out looking amazing! Anyone that knows me knows I don't play around with my hair and going to someone new is nerve racking and honestly at the end of it when I looked the mirror I knew I got lucky with John! If you're traveling in the area and need an emergency haircut or are from the area looking for a new barber, run, don't walk, to John!

What impressed me was how much she cared about proper aftercare. She didn’t just do the wax and send me on my way; she took the time to educate me about preventing ingrown hairs, the importance of exfoliation, and how to use the right products. She even looked over the ingredients in the product I’ve been using for ingrown hairs and gave me honest feedback on its effectiveness.
To top it all off, she gave me an exfoliating sponge to help maintain smooth skin between appointments. That level of detail and personalized care is rare, and I truly appreciated it.

Ellen was great and lovely. I had her booked for a massage and facial. She made me feel super relaxed during the massage and gave me tips during the facial. Booking was easy. I requested an appointment for two through text message. I did have a Groupon and was able to use it while booking. They do request a 20% deposit upfront.

Doctor Yap and his entire staff are all kind, courteous and professional at every interaction. Go there regularly for my cleanings and I’m going in a couple of weeks to have a couple crowns. It’s always a pleasant experience. I never dread going to the dentist anymore. I’ve been going to that practice for 15 years. I live in Coral Ridge so it’s right around the corner. There’s plenty of parking. Never any wait time. Highly recommend if you’re not happy with your current dentist. Give Island city dental a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I am very particular about Dentists so I was apprehensive of going to a new one. I travels over an hour at my previous location for a dentist unfortunately they are a plane ride away. I looked up through my insurance plans and read the reviews and decided to stay local and give it a try for my 6 month check up x ray am cleaning. I was impressed by the welcoming of the office, the ease and communication of setting up and scheduling appts and verifying insurance. Manny was my hygienist and was friendly, caring, and thorough in my cleaning. I opted to get a quote for invisiline for the future and was impressed by their imagery and care. Will definitely be back for my regulars and highly recommended to others especially those who reside in Wilton Manors.

As an out of towner, I was hoping he could do my sacral adjustment. In my case, I did not feel the adjustment relieved the pain. It is hard to hit that sweet spot, and sadly, my back pain had to wait until I got home to my regular chiropractor for relief. But very nice man, and not everyone is a good match.
Bruce does magic! I have gone to Robins Chiropractic for 6 years when I have needed to and always come back home renewed! Also Jason and the rest of the staff are all amazing people. You will not find a better chiropractor in the area.
