About Fox Hollow Golf Club and Restaurant
Fox Hollow Golf Club and Restaurant is a popular semi-private golf facility in the Tampa Bay area. The course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., provides a challenging layout for golfers of all skill levels, with four sets of tees and a well-maintained practice facility. Guests can enjoy the scenic atmosphere at the Grille and Banquet Room, which overlooks the 18th green, 10th tee, and a 10-acre lake, making it a good spot for private parties, including weddings. The course is often quiet, especially during off-peak times, and is generally in good shape, with fairways and bunkers in great condition. Greens may be aerated at times, which can affect play, but they are usually playable. The staff are friendly and professional, and the food is well-liked, with some visitors recommending the food and the course for fun rounds of golf. Buggies are equipped with GPS for convenience, though players should be aware of potential slow play during busy times. Overall, Fox Hollow Golf Club and Restaurant offers good value for golf lovers and event hosts alike.
The people giving this less than 3 stars are ridiculous. The course was in pretty good shape on Saturday, given the drought we’re in. Sprinklers can only do so much. My guess is that the people whining are all pretty entitled or just don’t understand what makes grass grow.
This weekend felt pace was somewhat slow, yet the weekend starter definitely knows how to manage things; he is well-versed in the course and provides useful tips. He successfully managed 230 golfers who went through the first hole without any major issues.
Thank you to the fox hollow food and beverage staff for making my Easter celebration with friends and family a success! The buffet was fantastic with excellent food selection, attentive staff, beautiful surroundings and a fair price. Keep up the good work!
