I am giving it a 3 because of Dr.Cancel. He is a great caring doctor. However the nurses there are lacking in the ability to want to help you with anything outside of taking your blood pressure and info for the doctor. They don't want to bother with helping you with anything if you call. If you expect a call back from them you will wait a long time if you ever get a call back at all.
The doctors are fine, maybe need some sensitivity training.The staff on the other hand are understaffed underpaid and could not care about you as a person or anyone for that matter. Ignoring your information, not giving you the time of day. Please do not ask “what problems are you having” in an open area with a dozen other patients waiting around. Hand me a forum like every other medical professional on earth.Misdiagnosed, bordering on malpractice my primary is out of the state. When brought to them with the information of my condition they decided to ignore the prior diagnosis. Please don’t do that, you’re a Florida doctor you’re bordering on incompetent.
I must say I have been using Palms Medical Group in Lake City for a while for both my child and myself. While I love the staff there as well, I have moved to High Springs. I was MORE than impressed however, with the Trenton office and feel I have found my permanent provider in Dr. Curtis Kirby. He is so kind & caring and truly loves what he does and you can see it in his behavior. He was gentle in taking my stitches out which I was grateful for bc I was a grown scared woman ??The entire staff at the Trenton office blew me away with kindness.
