Our cat, Ollie, had an accidental ingestion that could have been fatal. FC ER was quick to triage and treat, preventing further damage from occurring. They were extremely transparent with pricing and provided regular updates each day our cat was hospitalized. They were extremely patient and compassionate with our family and were never "put off" when we called to check in. We worked with several veterinarians and techs during this experience. Every person we encountered was top star! Ollie has made a full recovery thanks to First Coast Veterinary Specialists!

🎄🐾 Christmas Eve emergency vet visits are every pet parent’s nightmare — unless you’re at First Coast. 🐾🎄 I cannot say enough good things about First Coast Veterinary Specialists & Emergency. From the moment we walked in with little Dolly Dumplin and her fractured leg, we were met with compassion, patience, and true kindness — not just clinical excellence. ✨ Everything was explained clearly and gently. ✨ The environment was thoughtful and comfortable (even down to phone chargers — which matters when you’re there awhile). ✨ The staff wasn’t just knowledgeable — they genuinely cared. Special shout-out to Logan 🫶 who took extra-special care of my girl and treated her like the precious baby she is. And then… the Christmas magic 🎄 Dolly came out with a splinted cast DECORATED FOR CHRISTMAS 🥹✨ — a small thing that somehow made a scary holiday emergency feel a whole lot less Grinchy and a whole lot more human. Peak VetMed humor + heart. Huge gratitude to Dr. McNicholas, who treated Dolly like his own. He made the thoughtful decision to opt her out of surgery because it was truly the best medicine — not because it was profitable. That integrity is rare. Choosing to be there on Christmas Eve speaks volumes about his character and love for animals ❤️🐶. 🌟 No matter what happens with my fur babies, First Coast will always be my first choice for emergency and specialty care.
