My mother in law gave me a gift card to their place with her favorite hair dresser Delaney . I didn’t know what to expect and haven’t had my hair done since I moved here almost two years ago cause I was to scared for sth to go wrong. Well. I don’t have to be scared no more cause I found the best hair color specialist! I didn’t even know what I wanted and wouldn’t have been able to describe but Delaney turned my hair into a look! The color looks so natural and soft and the cut frames my face just right! She is lovely and the conversations were so easy. If you are looking for a new hair salon I 10/10 recommend her!
My God Daughter was getting married and I was under the impression she had made a hair stylist for everyone...2 weeks before the wedding (I live in Jacksonville) I learned that this was incorrect. Realizing I had no one to do my hair for her wedding (and my son being married 3 weeks prior) I was in a state of PANIC!!!
I googled hair salons and Aja came up. I have been here a few times. I started with Michelle, who did a great job working off my 'rx' from my previous Aveda salon. Great haircut. Only issue is, Michelle is booked out far in advance, something I forget every time I want/need hair work. Absolutely needed to be seen in early January, forgot to book. Was placed with Delaney. She gave me the best haircut of my life!! She put in a bunch of layers, angled around my face. ~1" shorter all around, which helped with everything blending in just right. Things I would not have thought to ask for. Love it!! She was also having to work to bring back my color after a visit to another Aveda salon. The other salon made my hair so dark, we are working back towards my original rx, but in steps. It's already looking so much better. I love sitting outside in their zen garden while my color is processing. Cute little re-purposed bungalow. These girls know what they are doing!
