I’ve been getting tattoos from Mike for over a decade and he’s an incredible tattoo artist. He has an amazing understanding of how to work on even the most difficult areas (he’s done my stomach, sternum, and ribs). He’s great with size and placement too. I always make a trip to see Mike whenever I need a new tattoo! He’s a really cool guy and outstanding artist.
I’ve been going to Mike Traina’s Art District for almost 10 years now, and that alone should tell you how much I trust Mike and his work. Over the years, Mike has always been incredibly down-to-earth, friendly, and easy to talk to. He’s the kind of artist who actually listens to what you want and works with you to turn your ideas into something you’re going to love.
Mike is an absolute beast with a tattoo machine. His attention to detail and the quality of his work are incredible, and I know every piece I’ve gotten from him is going to hold up for years to come. We are originally from Illinois, and Mikey did my first tattoo last year and now my second one this year. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment you sit down, Mikey makes sure you are comfortable throughout the entire session. He takes his time, pays incredible attention to detail, and really cares about taking care of your skin while he works. I also really appreciate that he takes breaks throughout the session, not only to give you a chance to relax, but to give himself a moment to reset as well. You can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of his work and making sure you have a great experience from start to finish.
