Last summer (July), my husband watched a Griffin service technician replace the capacitor with a brand new one out the box. Fast forward to today, August 18th, the capacitor stopped working during the hottest time of the day!?
I called Powell (the original installers of our Carrier AC) at 4:42pm, and was told Andre would be here in 15 minutes; he arrived at 5:06pm!? Not only was he punctual, pleasant, and knowledgeable, Andre wore shoe covers in our home and used PPE, which shows he understands safety and liability; a true asset to the Powell organization. Powell heating and Air has been my service provider for many years now, the front office is amazing at communication. They are prompt, efficient, honest and present a fair price. Garrett is my tech and fantastic, he knows his stuff, he's honest and I know I can trust what he tells me.

My then current A/C service provider told me on a maintenance call that my A/C error message was caused insufficient airflow due to the deteriorated condition of my coils. Based on a friend’s recommendation I contacted Powell Heating & A/C for a second opinion on a replacement unit. In addition to offering a superior option not previously offered by the first company that came by he also indicated that my system did not look so bad that a new replacement was warranted at this time and offered to send their technician out.
Bottom line is that instead of an easy 24K sale he could’ve made it was a much less painful $256 for inspection and repair... read full review
