So I have been trying for over 4 years to get a retro shag haircut. 3 times I tried. I would show the picture, they would cut my hair and I would end up with a bob. Something about cutting layers into the top of my hair seem to scare them. I'd let it grow out, then try again with someone else. Always ended up with a bob again and no real layers. One woman I tried to get the cut from told me she just couldn't do it EOS. I then decided to put a post on FB with pictures and asked who could give me this cut and I tried one different person first but she just gave me a shorter version of what I already had.
