Hurricane Express Wash

While camping in the area and with a forecast for some gorgeous weather everyone wants their ride to look it's best. I try and keep up with my vehicle washes so they never get the point that I need a major detail to get them back to looking good - I drag my 2004 Jeep behind my MotorCoach so this can contribute to it not always looking it's best. After getting settled at the campground I started looking for a good quality carwash and that's how I ended up here. There are some "every four weeks" unlimited wash programs in place here but I just wanted a reasonable wash to get the dust and morning dew streak off and since I don't live near by I assume I would have to pay up a little for a single premium wash. So the theme here is "Hurricane" (catchy) so they list the basic wash a Cat 3 for $12, the Cat 4 is a few extras over the basic and a single pass is $18 - then there are the Cat 5 for $22 and the Cat 5+ for $26 for a single pass, both of these reference "ceramic"coatings okay I think that's like buying a car detail in a can I don't think that's for me so I went with the Cat 4. The experience started out great the attendance prep'd my Jeep for the storm with a little foam and brushing for the bugs including the front grill, wind shield, side mirrors and back glass then guiding me onto the conveyor belt. The Cat 4 Storm was less intense than I expected and didn't last very long, it's seemed more like an abbreviated storm meaning the wash bay isn't very long and there wasn't a lot going on inside the eye wall. Let's fast forward to the end results - thankfully my Jeep wasn't dirty because besides getting wet I didn't see much difference than when I entered the wash bay , it was definitely an express wash and on such a beautiful day I was the only customer during my visit here, maybe the magic happens with the ceramic coating that I opted out of - You may question this review after looking at the photos of my Jeep but it always looks clean but the devil is in the details so I think unfortunately I will be looking at other options in the next few days...

Cat 5 plus with Graphene every time I come I get great service! Love using the app!! After driving on the beach I stop in and wash the salt off my truck. Hurricane in St Augustine never disappoints! Great service, compressed air towels and cleaners! Vacuums work phenomenal! They told me they just serviced them and are making great improvements for us! Great car wash with powerful vacuums!! Was hesitant about using a car wash that wasn’t touchfree, but this place is clean and my vehicle always comes out very pristine. Kaley is an excellent employee there. Pleasant to deal with and detail oriented. Nice job!!Services: Vacuuming
