Dr Pereria and his staff are true professionals that are courteous and compassionate. If I could give more than 5⭐I would. I was referred to Dr Pereira by another doctor in Jacksonville. We are a little over an hour away. At the point I was at in my treatment, I was facing amputation from my knee down. I was only 50 something, closer to 60 🫣 I wasn't ready to give up my leg. I'm a grandma of 6 Grandkids. The oldest being 20 and the youngest being 2, not to mention my 2 fur babies. I wanted to chase them around for quite a few more years 😁 We took the drive to St Augustine. I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly approached by a mild manner soft-spoken man after being greeted by a couple of girls at check in who were just as kind as Dr. Pereria. Then I was greeted by Dr Pereira's assistant who made me feel very welcome. So This being the first time I met Dr Pereira and his staff I felt at ease. He told me he couldn't make any promises but he was pretty confident that he could get me not only standing but walking again. Due to diabetes and Charcot disease, I had quite a few horrible years of toe amputations, hospital stays because of infection, sepsis...almost dying once, PICC lines for weeks on end, MRI'S, 14+ surgeries and many challenges ahead. Of course I'm sure many of you reading this review have gone through or are going through the same type of things I have. I had endured so much pain and Charcot had done a number on my left foot. Dr Pereria told me I was going to need reconstructive surgery and at least a few months recovery time. I didn't even have to think about it. I jumped in with both feet, pardon the pun, never looked back and put myself in his hands completely. I was so scared but I never regretted a single second of it. He not only saved my foot, he saved my life I continue to see him with other issues I have with my feet and he is truly the only doctor I have seen while on this painful journey where I have 💯% faith, respect and trust in. He has been my 8th podiatrist since 2014 and my last may I add and the ONLY Dr who had made me feel confident that I just might be able to save my foot. So I'm happy to report that since my reconstructive surgery in 2022, I'm walking without the use of even a cane, and before I saw Dr Pereria, I was in a wheelchair♿ Life is great for me now🤩 Thank you Dr Ryan Pereria You truly are my hero❣️
Dr. Ryan Pereira and his staff are excellent people with the care and professionalism they show to every patient that walks throught their doors. 3 yrs. ago this past February, Dr. Pereira performed charcot surgery on my right foot. He had to basically rebuild my arch because it had collapsed. 4 rods, and over 100 staples were used to close up areas Dr. Pereira had cut open to insert the rods. I am here to tell you today, the technique he used is 2nd to none. Dr. Pereira had an 85% success rate with this kind of surgery. I told him I was going to make his percentage go up to 86%. We did just that today. I am in an Arizona/AFO brace, walking with a regular shoe & as my recovery/healing keeps improving, in 1 yrs time, I will be back in regular shoes, walking without the brace on. This type of surgery only has a 30 - 40% success rate. I recommend Dr. Pereira and the Anastasia Medical Group to whoever needs the best care they can ever receive!!!!!
Best place I've ever been to for medical attention. Absolutely love love the staff.
