I hired Lance Mewes for an exterior paint job, and he starts the job, then a few says later announces he’s leaving town, and without my agreement “gives” the job to one of his workers, Steven Clark, a guy with self-professed ADHD. I figure a week later that the trip isn’t temporary but that Lance has totally abandoned my job. After 3 1/2 weeks of discombobulated efforts to prep my house, Steven informs me that he is out of money for the additional materials needed to finish prep. And in fact said he had been using expired products that were donated to him by Sherwin Williams.
