About Brevard Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine

Brevard Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine, led by Dr. Anderson, provides a peaceful and calming environment with a meditative waterfall, live plants, and thoughtful touches like water or tea for patients. The staff is described as amazing and caring, offering treatments that have helped patients physically and mentally. Patients appreciate the knowledgeable practitioners, with one noting the deep tissue work done by Jenie, who is very experienced in her field and knowledgeable about the human body. The clinic is known for its prompt service, with one patient’s husband being seen the same day for severe nerve pain, and another feeling very at ease during their first appointment. A patient, a disabled veteran, highlights the effective combination of massage and acupuncture for pain in their neck, back, and shoulder. Overall, there is high praise for the dedication of the therapists to making patients comfortable and relaxed during appointments, and for the clinic’s efforts to help improve health and remove toxins to promote well-being.

What an amazing experience each time I put my body and mind in their hands. I feel like this is the deepest relaxation I ever get; in fact, most the time I fall asleep on the bed. They also provide a "sounding board" for all my problems and events in my life... great listeners...haaa. Dr. Zachar, Janetta, and Eileen are extra special, competent, friendly, caring, and very professional. I am grateful they treat me as if I were their only guest (not among other "patients"). Unlike what people believe, it is safe and doesn't hurt. With accupuncture the needles are not just "jabbed" into your body; they are strategically placed at the skin or nerve level in the exact position to make an impact on the areas that are problematic. They can also add electrical stimulation (like a Tens unit) and heat to the bed and any other area needed during treatment. Furthermore, many people believe this treatment is connected to a religion, it's not here; though a somewhat spiritual mood and effect is included in the aesthetics, sound, and atmosphere in each room. It's just the right environment for me (and you). Finally, they offer a myriad of options and techniques to take care of your body, mind, and soul. It is worth working with the VA, your job or private insurance company, or personal funds to get or just try this out. I highly recommend. Brian H.
