I've had a good experience everytime I've been to NY Hair Salon. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and nice. I've never been disappointed with my hair after going there.

I was a walk-in first time client . I asked what the charge would be for a cut. I have very short hair, non-ethnic. I am a senior on fixed income, so pricing is important to me. Ana quoted $18 which is what I usually pay at another salon I have used for years. This salon is very close to home so I decided to try it. I was told to return at 4 pm. I arrived on time, but waited about half an hour after my appointment. Not a big deal but a bit unusual in my experience. Before the cut I was asked if I wanted a wash. This was my first time going to this salon.I got a blowout with rollers and a trim. I forgot the woman's name that did it,but I will be back for more lol she did a great job. She was very friendly and had great customer service & the prices were fair. I would definitely go back there it reminds me of the up north salons I use to go to back home.
