Do NOT work with this office. Signed a lease, and 10 days later found out I had to move across the state; a total surprise. They kept 1st months rent, as well as the security deposit, although there was 30 days before the lease was set to begin, and they had reasonable time to find another tenant. Cole Concannon was very rude and cold in response; he had no qualms about bullying us into signing away most of our deposit money.

This is the MOST unprofessional-scam artist rental company ever. I rented a house in Port Charlotte 4210 Library Street for 2 years. As soon as I moved in on May 15th 2019, the AC was not working. I was without AC for a whole month. The temperature inside the house was between 94 -96 during the day and 89-90 at night. I was constantly reaching out the the leasing agent (Audra Pulaskie) who would barely ever even replied to my texts or calls. In fact was very rude when she would reply. No adjustments were made on the rent that month nor was a portable AC or fan provided. I had to go out myself and spend $200 of my own money on a portable AC. The pool in the house had a leak that was never fixed in the 2 years I lived there. I had to continuously refill the pool causing my water bill to sky rocket. The patio screens were torn due to a tropical storm, they never came to fix it either. When it came to the end of my first year, I was given the renewal less than a week before it expired with a rent increase of $100/month. Meaning, that I was forced to pay it because they did not warn me with enough time about the rent increase and to look for aother house to rent. As per my second year in the house, the AC continued to malfunction, leaking through the filter vent causing water damage to a section of the wood flooring. I finished the second year lease. I had Audra Pulaskie do a walk through with me once the house was cleaned and everything had been moved out. Audra said I would receive my full deposit. A month later, after I had moved 4 hours away, I received a letter stating that they were going to keep my deposit of $2,500, plus they billed me for cleaning the house, the torn screens and pretty much everything they were neglectful with. I emailed and called Kathy Smith, Audra's manager. I have even called and emailed Deeana Atkinson that runs the whole place. No one has had the courtesy nor the decency of speaking to me. Every time I call the office now, I just get the run around. I am now placing a law suit against Coldwell Banker Sunstar.
