I’m usually hesitant about going to the doctor due to my experiences with other doctors in the past but Dr Truty and her staff are beyond incredible! Most doctors will rush through your appointment spending MAYBE 10 minutes with you but not Dr Truty! She took the time to listen to all of my concerns and she works with you to make a care plan that works best for you! I’ve seen Dr. Truty for both primary care and acupuncture & I couldn’t ask for a better doctor! 10 out of 10!!!

Let me preface this by saying that I am very "anti-doctor." I only get sick about 1-2 times a year and most of the time I can power through it without needing to be seen by a physician. I'm new(er) to Jax Beach so I was even more nervous about visiting a primary care doctor because I've had such awful experiences other places. However, Upon meeting Sharyl, I can tell that I've found my primary care physician! The visit without insurance was very affordable (compared to walk-in/urgent care/"doc in the box") and the care I received was top-notch. My appointment time was respected and I spent less than 20 minutes being assessed. She did not see all the signs of strep, so she did not make me take a full strep-test (which I feel other places require so they can get more $$ out of you). I left feeling much better and I'm glad Darren recommended this place to me through the Atlantic Beach community page! Thank you, Darren and Sharyl!

I highly recommend Dr. Sharyl Truty for acupuncture, as well as all other primary care needs. Trained in both Eastern and Western medicine, Dr. Truty really listens to her patients and is able to accommodate their particular needs/desires. She is not only professional, but also caring, thorough and will take whatever time is needed to make sure she - and you - understand your medical issues. Additionally, her fantastic staff help to ensure that you have a stress free doctor's visit!
