I had never done Jazzercise before so I took a couple of the "Light" classes which are a decent way to start to become accustomed with the moves and the aerobic pace. The evening and Saturday morning classes are definitely more of a challenge but all of the classes are pretty good: instructors know what to do, a mixture of music, how to explain the movements, etc. The people who do the check in are also very good at explaining things if you ask a few questions. The other exercisers are pretty enthused which makes the class light-hearted and not drudgery. Plus, many of them will smile and chat it up with you.
