Just had my cataract surgery with Dr. Anil Vedula. it's unbelievable how much I can see, he has given me the best vision, he opened a new world for me. I was visiting Dr. Guevara today with a patient considered a difficult cataract removal by his original opthalmologist. From hello, this office was different to many. very pleasant faces on happy staff more than willing to explain their routine of a new patient referral and what to expect. Each test tech we worked with, 4 in total, put him at ease. explained their test and was very kind and professional. when it was time to visit with Dr. Guevara, she went over everything in infinitesimal detail with him. explained that she wanted one more test done which would help in comparison to other previous tests.. to pick the exact fit for a new lens. She had the test done the again went over the results and explained his options and her personal suggestion but kindly explained that the decision was his to make. He made his decision and decided on which eye to start with. Dr Guevara then explained the next measuring appointment prior to surgery to triple and quadruple check that the correct lens was selected and walked us to the surgical scheduler's office. The amazing scheduler went over every option and detail again to make certain he knew exactly what to expect and that the options he selected matched his surgery information. she made EVERY future appointment for him at once going over his schedule for him and explained cost/copays and everything she could think of to mention to put him at ease and make certain he was fully informed! personally, as a physician with 33 years in healthcare under my belt, I don't think I've seen a more organized, safe, clean and welcoming environment to address your medical needs... and the warmth, compassion and kindness of the entire staff just increased our confidence in having found the right fit for his eye care needs. Many times it's been said that the skills of the physician can be blunted when patients are forced to deal with unhappy or uncaring staff. Today's appointment was at least proof that the reverse is true. I never questioned Dr Guevara's skills as a surgeon, I had researched her thoroughly! what was so impressive today was that her known skills were outshined by her warmth. kindness and caring and by her staff that obviously follow her good example of why the "care" in healthcare is so important! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Guevara and her team at YOUR EYE SPECIALISTS! Anyone would be well cared for there!
I just switched eye dr offices and I have never ever had such a detailed exam. The dr was amazing, her name is Jade Guevara, MD. Very patient, kind & knowledgeable . Definitely recommend this office 👁👁
