As per my prior reviews, I’ve been a client at Maggie/Plantation, and Maggie/Pembroke Pines before that, for more than a number of years.

In addition to hair color service I sporadically request a haircut or trim as I am allowing my hair to grow out for a ponytail clip attachment, but it was past time to trim dead ends at my last salon visit this past August 28th.

I was flabbergasted to have been charged $80 for a “Haircut WITHOUT blowout”, particularly given the fact that I (1) have mature very sparse thin hair, (2) it was a simple straight trim of a few inches without any point cutting, face framing, elevation or layering, and (3) it took a mere 3 minutes with… read full review

Did color with Alliana who was amazing. Perfect color match, she’s quick but with attention to detail. Side note: shampoo area chairs are sooo comfy I could’ve napped in it😃

Today I had Christina again and I not only received exactly the styling I asked for, I also had satisfying, intelligent conversation about several things. I’m not high maintenance, not a prima donna, but I’m happy to get exactly what I want and a little more. Maggie the Salon is old school customer service, person to person, professionals paying attention to what you want and giving it to you. A salon like this, any business like this, is rarer than ever.
