I was a patient for a few years before Dr. FLEMENBAUM died. I saw a new PA, not even a doctor, who decided that she wanted to cancel all of my prescriptions, without even doing an evaluation or asking any questions of me. She had no background on me whatsoever, did not provide her duty of care, and was quite rude and lascivious to me. I will not be back. It was already a hike for me to go here, but I found a new psychiatrist office of which they are Dyme-A-Duzin. The new management, staff, and people that call themselves medical professionals here need to have their licenses reevaluated. Purely disgusting. Crass miss use of the medical field.

I have been a patient for a few months and this month I called to check on my appointment to be told they no longer take my insurance. They wouldn’t refil my prescription unless I paid them $150 for a self pay visit. They knew since December 21st that they no longer take my insurance

After going to this office for almost 3 years now without any bad review or bad incident I currently found out during Covid that the practice was sold to another doctor. My experience thus far in the last month has been horrendous today especially. I was told I had an appointment for 10 AM and that I was going to get a phone call by the doctor today which never happened. I'm due for my script refill so an appointment today was vital to my mental health. I had to call the office asking what was going on they sounded clueless on organized and rude. The phone was then passed on to another office employee where she then took my payment as I do not have insurance and I pay out of pocket $150 instantly reassuring me the doctor would be calling me within the hour. That never happened the doctor never called.I called the office wondering what was going on they claim that they have called me three times and I did not answer I had to asked to verify my phone number when the administrator did she realized that she had the wrong information. When the information is finally updated and verified I did receive a call from the doctor soon there after. The doctor seemed apprehensive and unwilling to just simply refill my prescription rather than challenge why I'm taking them in the first place. I have built rapport with my doctors over the years this is not a conversation I can have five minutes over the phone I felt no personal contact I found no one in the office care to even look at my file in my history with the office and my dedication to the doctors that have been there to serve. I was giving no comfort compassionOr understanding. I know now this practice is dead I am nothing more but a number to them buyer beware if you care about your mental health I would look elsewhere this practice is nothing what it used to be nobody there seems to care or even know who you are. Just to give you an idea they took my payment within seconds and when I called back hours later to ask when I was going to have service they hung up on me three times. I spoke to Christine the office worker and she was absolutely horrendous. If you were a new person struggling with mental illness I urge you to go elsewhere this practice is dead.
