After Hurricane Michael we were scrambling to find a reputable roofing company to replace our roof. We had gotten several quotes and were battling with the insurance company for approval when it dawned on me that maybe Ameritech Roofing was taking on some individual roofs. Our preference is to always use local reputable contractors when possible. I had been aware of Ameritech Roofing for years, but I knew that typically they did commercial work or larger subdivision projects. I picked up the phone and called Chad Miller. Chad informed me that his Dad, Robert, and his company were indeed working on individual roofs at the current time in their effort to help the community. Chad got me a quote within 30 minutes and at that point he got me in touch with Al Edwards. Al gave me a call and we scheduled a time to meet at the house. Once at the house, we went over the details of the roof and I learned that he and his family have a proud and long heritage of roofing. In our additional correspondence everyone always did what they said they would do. They all promptly responded to every inquiry made regardless if it were by txt, call or email. They even jumped through hoops appeasing the insurance company’s request on the quote. The crew got to us right away (everything was completed in under 3 weeks from our initial call). Once the crew came out Al introduced me to his brother Brian. I spoke with Brian for a while as he informed me of what they were doing and why. He also reiterated what great pride they and their crew take in their work. explaining to me how they were taught by their uncles many years back. I for one am elated that I got an Ameritech roof put on by the Edwards. The crew was impeccable to say the least. They put our roof on, on a Friday just before a good rain I watched the rain roll off of our new roof with a sense of both relief and pride. However, that’s not the end of my experience. The following Tuesday, I was out at the house with a siding guy and we notice a leak due to improper tarping (on the side of the house) provided by another company. I called Al to see if they might be in the area. In about 10 minutes Brian and crew showed up to shore up our tarping. I can’t say enough about these guys and this company.
