About Star Academy of Dance & Aerial Arts
Star Academy of Dance & Aerial Arts is an amazing studio where children grow, learn, and shine. Students love it there, with many calling it a second home. They look forward to their classes every week, finding them fun and engaging. The studio offers a wide variety of activities including recreational dance and aerial classes, acro workshops, technique intensives, summer camps, glow parties, Parents Night Out events, and even affordable aerial birthday parties. Students can participate in the North River Ballet Company, the Radiant Dance Collective competition team, and the Community Performance Team. The instructors are outstanding, patient, supportive, and encouraging. They are incredibly talented dancers and gifted choreographers who truly care about the students. Their positive energy, genuine care, and passion create a fun, encouraging, and uplifting environment. They make every child feel confident and excited to learn, getting to know each child's individual strengths and bringing out the best in them. The studio owner is amazing and works hard to maintain a very family-friendly environment with age-appropriate dances and costumes. Communication with the studio is smooth and reliable. The dance family supports and cheers each other on. Students show amazing growth, quickly progressing from novice dancers to winning competitions, scholarships, judges awards, and titles. Beyond dance skills, they learn invaluable life skills like goal setting, resilience, and sportsmanship. Parents note the utmost importance of safety and love for their children at the studio. The growth seen in dancers is really amazing. It is a great place for anyone looking for something for everyone.
Star Academy of Dance & Aerial Arts is absolutely amazing! My daughters look forward to their Aerial Class every week, it’s truly the highlight of their schedule. The instructors, Miss Kalia and Miss Kimora, are outstanding! They are incredibly patient, supportive, and make every child feel confident and excited to learn. Their positive energy and genuine care create such a fun and encouraging environment. I’m so grateful for the wonderful experience my girls are having here. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a place where kids can grow, learn, and shine!
My daughter loves this dance studio and that's all that matters. She is engaged learning and having fun doing it. This was her first year on the competition team and did a great job because of great instructors. She even got a 2nd place dancing against kids older than her. I know you can't please all the Karen's in the world, but this place does a great job.
My daughter has been a student at Star Academy for over 3 years. She’s participated in almost everything Star Academy has to offer. She’s done aerial glow parties, Parents Night Out events, recreational dance and aerial classes, summer camps, acro workshops, technique intensives and piano lessons.
