While visiting Sarasota, my home town, I was driving my shuttle bus conversion and heard strange noises coming from under the hood. I'm not a mechanic so of course I was concerned. I Googled Palmetto (recommendation from the Valvoline guy, Adrian on state rd 64) 'mechanics' and Davis Automotive popped up. This was on Friday. I talked to the owner Rick and described the noise. He asked if I could bring it in on Monday. I arrived around 9:30 and after an initial assessment they ordered parts and within an hour they arrived. My headlight decided to die at 2pm on the day before I was to give birth. I bought the bulb as I was going to try to do it myself. Wasn’t happening! They answered the phone and told me to bring it on by ASAP. I did and they fixed it for me last minute at 3pm in the afternoon! I was in the market for a new mechanic as mine is in South Sarasota, and I’ve found mine!! Thank you sir for your time and generosity!Service: General repairs & maintenance

In desperate times my roommate and I dropped off our shared vehicle after closing time. It had overheated so we thought, and was met by the owner who was closing shop, he happily let us leave the vehicle there and registered that night so we didn't have to come back in the morning. Without needing to follow up he called the next morning saying it was our heater valve, long story short, we waited a few weeks to leave a review to see if his work paid off and it did! Thank you Dave.
