Haven’t got my hair cut in 3 years. Went straight to Yaya (the owner.) I showed her a picture she made some recommendations based off of how I was explaining that I wanted a lower maintenance haircut. She performed.
ya ya is the best in town ! shes especially great with color and with transitioning to grey / white from color and highlights . She thought grey blending was the best way to get the white / platinum hair I wanted since I am so grey already and in one visit I went from blonde highlights and brown dye with constant root touchups to beautiful white hair growing naturally at top and sides and she blended that to ends and under with no damage to my hair . I'm so happy with my color and so glad I didn't have to wait months for it to grow out ! Ya ya is very creative , talented , fast and so sweet , she's also very busy and that's obviously because she's great at what she does . she does nails and cuts just as well too . I'm so happy I found her for nails one day and now she's the only stylist I'd go to in town for hair , nails and all salon services . Thank you ya ya !
I stopped by Ya Ya Salon by accident when driving around City Market just to see what was there, and VOILA! I found my new hairdresser! I can only comment on Ya Ya because I haven't seen anyone but her, but she is a magic-maker! I don't know how many times I've had my hair highlighted, only to be disappointed that the hairdresser didn't hear me when I said I wanted beige or grey highlights so I could ease into going all grey. Guess what? She listened! I was so happy when I walked out of Ya Ya Salon I wanted to shout! They perform all sorts of magic there including mani-pedi's, blow-outs, all over color and even guys' cuts. I am so happy to have found my FOREVER stylists....read full review
