About The Spot Salon

The Spot Salon is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for its clients, focusing on their needs and preferences. The salon prides itself on a culture of education, ensuring that both the staff and clients are well-informed about hair care and styling. Most of the business comes from repeat customers and referrals, highlighting the satisfaction of their clientele.

Shauna, a long-time stylist at The Spot Salon, is particularly praised for her unmatched expertise in hair and color. Clients have been coming to her for years, even traveling long distances just to benefit from her skill and talent. She is known for creating beautiful colors while maintaining hair health, making her a favorite among clients. The salon itself offers a bright and inviting ambiance, making each visit feel like a mini getaway. The friendly and welcoming staff, including George at the front desk, enhances the overall experience.

While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, there is a note of criticism regarding the initial greeting from the front desk, which some clients found abrasive. However, even with this feedback, the quality of the styling services received high praise, indicating that the skill of the stylists is a significant draw for customers. Overall, The Spot Salon is recognized for its skilled stylists, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to client satisfaction.

I was referred to The Spot Salon by a friend and was honestly nervous about finding a new stylist after having the same one for over 20 years. Shauna, the owner, completely put me at ease. Her knowledge, skill, and attention to detail are exceptional. She listened carefully to what I wanted and gave me beautiful color, highlights, and a cut while also focusing on keeping my hair healthy. The results were fantastic.

The salon itself is spacious, stylish, and very welcoming. Her team, George and Veronica, are also wonderful—friendly, professional, and attentive.

I finally found my salon!!! Best experience going to a hair salon ever. Shauna (stylist and owner) and her assistant Veronica made feel so at home and pampered me with under eye treatment patches, coffee, snacks. It’s such a cozy and homey space. Veronica has angel hands that make shampooing just heaven. I went there because her online pictures showed beautiful layers on her cuts and Shauna did not disappoint me. She got exactly what I wanted and loved my haircut!! It really brought my hair to life.

Shauna is the absolute best! I’ve been a client for nearly 15 years and love how my hair looks every time. I love it so much that even after I moved to Sarasota a few years ago, I still drive back for Shauna’s magic touch. She’s not only a talented stylist, but her new salon is a bright, beautiful place to feel pampered and her husband George, who runs the desk, is the absolute nicest and the icing on top of a perfect salon experience.
