I had been wanting to take out my tub and put in a walk in shower but I didn't like the prefab ones, especially for the price. I stopped into Halifax Tile one day and talked to John. He made it seem doable so we picked out some tile and set up a time to do it. John had a great selection of tile. We picked a beautiful one and called Jim Stroh, the plumber John recommended. The whole project was completed on time and without a hitch. I love my new bathroom!
Contacted John for about entranceway tile that needed repair. The tile had come loose from the slab. Another company said they couldn't reuse the old tile (which was in good condition) and that I'd have to get new tile They also quoted $1700. John said he could reuse the old tile, which he did, and charged less than 1/4 the price. He also came back the next day to add something I asked for. I had started a floor remodel before the holidays and had a tile guy lined up that was a no call, no show. After several more of the same from various flooring companies around this area my husband decided to start installing tile himself as we had then found out our son who is in the military was coming home for the first time in two years. My husband also has a full time job and time was a factor. After a lot of stress due to unfinished floor I found and called Halifax Tile and the owner, John was at my house the same day to look at job and give quote.
