I’ve been training with Ali at The Gym Lab for years. It’s an awesome space, especially if big box, crowded commercial gyms are not your thing. And sometimes there’s even a gym dog there to help keep you motivated!
This is an amazing, positive environment to work out with a personal trainer. Depending on what time you go, it may just be you and your trainer or maybe 1 or 2 others, so it feels very private.
Jeff has helped me lose over 15 pounds in just a few months and get into the best shape of my life, and I'm just getting started. He watches every rep I do like a hawk and doesn't let even one sloppy, bad form rep slip in.
They might not have every piece of equipment ever invented like a commercial gym, but you don't need all that, you just need to show up and do the work.
As someone who messed up their shoulder by overtraining it, Rebecca was a lifesaver. Even before my first session, Rebecca laid out what we were planning to do, which was very helpful.
Once there and across our sessions, she made sure to assess the issue comprehensively, detailing everything out in my personal plan, including providing really helpful homework exercises I could easily do at home. Rebecca is really informative, which gave me confidence, and the plan naturally evolved and updated as I made progress.
