Many report finding equipment and towels scattered around the gym, and some even find the women's locker room unsanitary. Additionally, some members feel that the club has attracted a new demographic with poor gym etiquette, leading to a less-than-ideal workout environment. Despite its luxurious marketing, some members feel that the gym is now prioritizing quantity over quality, leading to a decrease in overall satisfaction.
From what I viewed, the place looked great. I booked a 1pm and was running behind, but I witnessed the two young customer service people try to shoe off someone trying to get a membership and I was next in line and thought it was contradicting the times you can go. Idk, just think I’ll take the reviews at heart and stay away.
I hope my review echoes the voice of many regular long time members. This is supposed to be a “health club” and not just a gym. This place has its perks- towel service, cold plunge sauna steam room, good equipment, classes, big turf area, several power racks etc. But it seems over the 2 years I’ve been going here the cons have been growing or getting worse. A lot of this is due to behavior of members but it seems the staff doesn’t care about the gym cleanliness and member experience equally as much as members with poor gym etiquette to do something to improve. I’ve been going to this gym for years & This gym use to be 5 stars but since genesis have taken over it’s going down hill. This is no longer the luxury gym i use to pay for. The gym is a mess, it’s always crowded, they aren’t taking care of the machines, or keeping equipment looking good, & bathrooms are always a mess. Genesis wants to get paid as a luxury gym without giving members the benefit of a luxury gym. The gym is going to start losing good members because they like quantity over quality.
