Purchased a Groupon a while ago and finally had time to visit here. This was a pre Valentine day gift. The front desk young lady was sweet and professional, she met us at the elevator because I didn't have time to check in at the front desk for a key. The spa was very clean, not overly sprayed with perfume etc. Our massage providers were Sheila and Kathleen(Kat) Both were amazing, they listened to our concerns and when it was go time. THEY WENT TO WORKKKK! I wish I could take Sheila home with me for 24/7 massages lol. At the end of the service you're offered with champagne or cider. I had the cider with chocolate covered almonds. You're able to enjoy the pool and amenities however it was a little too chilly in Florida for the pool. I'll be back for sure! Loved it!!
My best friend and I were visiting town and decided to treat ourselves to a massage at Poseidon Spa using a Groupon deal. We'd previously enjoyed brunch at the Grand Bohemian, but this was our first time exploring the spa side of things. The Groupon package was generous: a 50-minute massage (with the option of a head massage or hot stones), access to the pool, discounted valet parking, and a glass of champagne. Sounds dreamy, right? Getting there was a bit of an adventure. Our GPS led us to the wrong entrance, and since we were running late, we parked in a nearby garage. Once inside, we got stuck on the 6th floor trying to figure out how to actually enter the spa. Pro tip: stop at the hotel front desk first to get a key card, then head to the 6th floor to access the spa through the double black doors. Once we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and got us settled in quickly. I've had many hot stone massages before, but this one stood out--at one point it felt like six stones were being used simultaneously! It was a unique sensation, and combined with the heated bed, I practically melted into relaxation. We were originally told we'd have one male and one female masseuse, but ended up with two male therapists. It wasn't an issue for us, but I could see how that might be a concern for others who prefer a specific setup. Overall, despite the initial confusion and the mix-up with the massage staff, it was a 4 out of 5 stars experience. The ambiance, service, and massage quality made it worth the visit--and I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in town and looking to unwind.
Did a couples massage with a deep tissue addon for myself. Shiela and JD provided amazing massages. Facility is extremely clean and calming. Nice pool and bar area next door on the same floor. My only regret was only getting a 50 min massage.
