I am noticing all these old and negative comments on here, so I am obligated to update with facts. On my natural hair journey which has been 5+ years I have always trusted my hair to Ms. Nadia. Myself, my children whom are multi racial as well as my grandchildren have never been disappointed or disrespected. 10/10

Okay ima be honest these fake rude comments are not true Nadia African braiding salon is quick and fast have great seevice and the prices and nevee expensive I really do reccomend you to tell your friends and family

I contacted Nadia a couple of days prior to when I planned to get my hair braided. Nadia was quick to reply to my questions and very professional. After being given a quote, I scheduled the appointment for my daughter and I. I was told that we would be worked on by Nadia and her sister and would be completely done on the same day 10/15. Upon arriving, I noticed her sister had not arrived and inquired further. At which point I was informed that she would not be making it. Darn, it was going to be two days to complete. It wasn't long after she began that I realized she was fast and the work was top notch. My woes melted away. Nadia moisturized my hair as she braided. Bonus! My daughter and I left our whipping our hair back and forth (best we could). These braids are tight. It was less painful than micro braids that I had installed in the past. These were not as small, but much longer than any I have ever had. So in short, Nadia will help you figure out what hair you need, schedule best day and time and is proficient. To clarify my daughter had her hair braided the following day 10/16. My braids have been in for about a month now and only one came out that was attached to a tiny piece of "kitchen hair" lol. My hair still looks great and I have had no itching. My daughter has not lost a single braid and hers looks fantastic too. Moving forward, the only thing that I plan to do differently is have my part made straight down the center of my head for when I wear my braids down, not using any scissors on the stray hairs, and no brown gel on the length of ten hair to keep the hair as clean as possible. In the end, I will be using Nadia in the future for braids. This is her family business and I will certainly support that. I had a few requests, so if you have any be sure to express those and ensure that is done to your satisfaction. I also plan to inquire about her sew-in's.
