About Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa offers a great location near attractions, with convenient shuttles and quick Uber access. Guests appreciate the clean, spacious rooms, especially the 2-bedroom suites with balconies and pull-out sofas. The resort features a large pirate ship pool and is close to grocery stores and restaurants. While some reviews mention small bathrooms and a need for room updates, the staff's service is highlighted as top tier by many. Overall, it is a recommended choice for families and those looking for a memorable stay. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable, though the furniture and mattresses could use some investment. The hotel operates as a self-service hotel, meaning no housekeeping during your stay unless paid extra, and guests should buy toilet paper at the convenience store, as only one roll per bathroom is provided. The location is very close to parks (about 3 miles) and well-known restaurants, with a nearby supermarket. Parking can be difficult if arriving late, especially at building 5, where guests might need to park at the shopping center next door and walk to their room. Guests are advised to request extras like toilet paper and garbage bags if staying more than two days, as housekeeping staff does not speak English. The pirate ship pool is popular but the pool chairs are aging, with fabric breaking at the frames, so caution is advised when sitting. Overall, many guests enjoy the spacious rooms and prime location, though some note that the furniture and amenities could benefit from updates.

The price and location is good. This is definitely an affordable option for families. However, the rooms are very dated, and ours smelled extremely musty. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. It looked like the dishwasher had been run, but they didn’t get clean.

We had a great experience with our 85 high school senior students and 9 chaperones. Rooms were very clean and easy to access. Bus parking was a little far but that was not big deal.

For the price, this place was great! We got a 3 bedroom 2 bath suite for the same price as a hotel room with a 1 bed/1 bath. The halls had a strange smell but the rooms were nice, large and clean. It was great to have a kitchen and a waaher/dryer in the room. I didn't like that they were trying to get me to attend a time share meeting upon arrival, but they weren't overly pushy about it. Our first night, it was very quiet. The second night we could hear a lot more.
    I would stay again.
