    We ordered a new front door, from Home Depot, in March 2022. It was paid for IN FULL at the time of the order, when the contract was signed. It was not delivered and installed until July 2022. When the installation was complete I noticed the threshold was ridiculously high. It looked like a railroad tie. I pointed that out to the head installer. He looked at it and agreed with me. He said that a new threshold would have to be ordered and it might take a couple of weeks. Well, we had waited 4 months already, what's a couple of weeks? A "couple of weeks" later and nothing was done. We made calls to Home Depot. They apologized. They promised to handle it, to make it right. I explained that this is the home of a disabled Vet and his disabled wife. My wheelchair cannot SAFELY navigate that threshold. Now we enter the phase of the "telephone game". And in each call, they made to us, they acknowledged THEIR error and promised to correct the mistake. They even promised to install a complete, new door...not just a new threshold. They have been lying this whole time. They got our money up front. That was OUR mistake. They have dragged this out. And now, they say we had only 60 days, from the contract date, to cancel the order or make our dispute. How could we? It took them 4 months to bring the defective door to our home. That is WAAAY over 60 days! Their latest communication to us was a letter saying "this matter is closed". Do not do business with Home Depot. They are dishonest and underhanded. No...they are thieves!!! We gave them well over $5K and they refuse to honor the contract and install a proper front door. They are a multi-million dollar company and have no problem stealing from the poor. I guess our next step is a lawsuit.

    I was fortunate to receive assistance from Sam in the Lumber Department. He was so helpful in making decisions to select the right type of lumber I needed to complete my fence. He patiently answered all of my questions and cut the pieces I selected to my specifications. His offer to help me throughout my visit is what impressed me the most. I also noticed how he offered to help other customers in the vicinity as well. Truly above and beyond and I really appreciate it because I had just left a nearby Lowe's where customer service was non-existent. It was so refreshing to meet Sam. Again I was fortunate to meet him but HD is fortunate to have him as an associate. He will be my go to reference for future projects. Thanks again Sam. You are great!😀

    By firing most of the staff and retrain on customer service. I have never been to a more disrespectful lazy store. No matter how many times you talk to corporate nothing changes. Was told i had to go to 6 different locations to get all the cabinet hinges i needed they refused to order them for me and told me to go to lowes. Even though inventory showed multiple🤬🤬 cases in stock didn't want to look. Wont help me because i don't speak spanish and my wife gets hit on or treated like garbage by staff.
