Terrible attitude by security, yelling at performers and attendees. Employees of security company even openly complained about the company and the supervisor. One guard even told us that legally we didn’t have to listen to anything they told us.
I attended a music event where Gator Guards was contracted as security. Had no issue and felt all of the guards in Orange shirts were good spirited.JOEY, the supervisor, was completely and totally unprofessional. I was so completely embarrassed by his behavior that I personally, as an attendee, apologized on his behalf. He was literally yelling in the face of the touring manager of a band from Jamaica. The Tour Manager was calm and respectful. Only trying to explain himself, while Joey yelled and RANTED in his face. I was at an event in Orlando , Florida Groves Fest, and I witnessed an ugly scene unfold involving someone in a blue Gator shirt named Joey. The concert ended and as people were exiting they stopped to buy some souvenirs of their experience. Joey got angry because these attendees were not exiting fast enough as they were further patronizing the event by spending more money on merchandise. Joey was yelling and getting up in the face of one of the Artists road manager. The road manager kept his cool and apologized profusely as Joey continued his belligerent tirade. Having been to several hundred concerts in my lifetime and never seen such a display. I question how professional the other aspects of Gator if this is one of their leaders/managers. After the Astroworld tragedy I've been wary of larger shows because security failures caused that tragedy. Joey shouldn't be in charge of a two car funeral never mind anyone's security
