About Apria Healthcare
Apria Healthcare is one of the nation's leading providers of home respiratory services and certain medical equipment, including oxygen therapy, inhalation therapies, sleep apnea treatment, enteral nutrition, and negative pressure wound therapy. The company owns and operates more than 325 locations across the United States and serves over 1.8 million patients each year. They offer free delivery and assistance with tracking supplies, billing questions, and service-related needs. Customers have shared mixed experiences. Some praised the helpfulness of service technicians, mentioning how they explained everything in detail and handled exchanges quickly. For example, one customer appreciated the immediate care when exchanging a wheelchair. Others noted the effort of staff in the office, with one person describing how Gayle went above and beyond to ensure a portable oxygen concentrator was processed through the doctor’s office and insurance. There were comments about long wait times on the phone, with customers finding it difficult to reach customer service and experiencing delays in receiving orders. One person shared frustration over waiting over a month to get equipment after the doctor’s request, citing poor communication and long hold times. Despite these issues, many customers acknowledged the helpfulness of staff like John in delivery and Gayle in the office, who provided good service and explained how to set up and use equipment.
Everyone i talked to was nice but only the last person that helped me choose a mask and the last person I spoke to actually helped. It took another two weeks to finally get the email I needed to sign so the order could be shipped. Spoke to 3 CS reps before i finally received it. Now I’m told it will be another 3-5 days before it ships. That means it will...read full review
They sent the CPAP machine. That didn't send all the parts that I needed. Then when they did send the parts they weren't the right things. I had to go back to my pulmonologist and see if they had something temporarily. I will call Monday morning to see if they'll send me the right thing this time. You can't hardly ever get anybody to answer the phone you have to hang on forever. Not real happy with this company
Great service provided by John in delivery on time and explained how to use equipment and set up. Gayle in office who handled our order, went above and beyond to assure the Portable Oxygen concentrate got through Dr.s office and Insurance company. The phone system needs a little work as the customer hold times are extremely long. Thanks both for your assistance in setting me up on home and portable oxygen. Carol in winter springs
