Took my volvo to volvo shop was told I need alternator...732.00 installed. Got a second opinion from Orlando Starters & Alternators. They took alternator off, opened it and concluded only the voltage regulator was bad. Replace part, installed alternator, all done. 394.00 out the door. Huge savings. My advice to you...don't mess around with other shops if you suspect alternator trouble. Orlando Starters & Alternators is honest and knowledgeable. Thanks guys!
