I signed up for a Billing & Coding Class with NyWes and had a wonderful experience! Returning to the classroom was nerve racking, but I was immediately put at ease. The class was attended by people from various backgrounds: grocery store clerks, call center workers, insurance billers, nurses, etc- all with the goal of opening up new career opportunities. Regardless of our life/work experiences, the team provided training that made us all successful in being prepared to take the National Certification Exam. Most impressive to me was how NyWes has found a way to provide adult learners with a curriculum that meets the individual needs of different learning styles, levels of education, and medical knowledge. I have been a RN (30 yrs) and Nursing Home Administer (20 years) and my fellow classmates with no experience in healthcare did just as well scoring over 95% on the tests. I highly recommend and encourage this program to anyone looking for career change or advancement in a current job.
The NyWes staff have gone above and beyond to keep the Pharmacy Tech program going for military spouses at Keesler! They transitioned the course from classroom to online in just a couple of weeks. Mrs. Nikki is very friendly and helpful! I look forward to working more with her!
