Dr . maxy is great but new staff debbie is horrible . Not very helpful , unprofessional , Has no idea what she is doing . she is the reason my wife will no longer wants to be a patient after 3 years of amazing service by Dr. maxcy .

It was December of 2010 when Dr Shim did my lower back surgery, and today I am still mobile. At the time of my injury and shortly after the surgery I had doubts about my ability to recover, but I followed all of his instructions, follow ups, and therapy and it's the best outcome I could imagine. Although I still have back concerns, his surgery and choice of hardware and stem cell bone fusion has made the quality of life considerably better than those I know with similar back issues.

It has been 12 years this month since my surgery. He was not quick about cutting, I had 2 previous surgeries with another doctor, he delayed for 6 years. When the time came, I have to admit I was a little scared. He made it extremely clear to me that the surgery may not work, it could get worse, or it could get a lot better. No promises- an attribute I really appreciate. I was lucky and it got a lot better. He and his staff are up front, kind, and compassionate. The best of the best I would say 12 year later, I was lucky to find him and appreciate how he changed my life.
