It's been awhile since I looked forward to a doctor's appointment.
I am so glad I met Dr. Silpa Benny. She is energetic, bright and attentive. She was patient as I went through my list. Her nurse Christine is a joy. Nurse Practitioner Deana Lantz helped me get established as a patient here in Florida and update my prescriptions and vaccinations. The Oldsmar facility is clean and smoothly run. Conveniently located with easy parking. I am very pleased.

The BayCare Medical Group Oldsmar office is conveniently located close to my Westchase home off Tampa Road & Pine Ave North, behind a Steak & Shake and Super Walmart, and provides primary care. The BayCare Medical Group Oldsmar offices are located in a fairly new and well kept office park and the facilities are modern and clean. The walls of the doctors offices are filled with great travel pictures from the doctors travels. After unsuccessfully trying to get an appointment with a primary care doctor in the Tampa General Medical Group within 30 days, my insurance referred me to Dr Hughes with the BayCare Medical Group who was able to give me an appointment within 3 days, which was just what I needed. The Baycare Medical Group has convenient online appointment scheduling, online pre-appointment paperwork, online lab results, and online medical charts so you don't have to spend a long time on the phone. After checkin it was only a 5 minute wait to see Dr. Hughes. Dr Hughes was friendly, able to answer all my questions confidently, very knowledgeable, even asked follow up questions to figure out my situation, and helped find the best solutions for me. Quest diagnostics is located next door so it was super convenient for me to go after my Doctor's appointment to get vital blood screening lab work. BayCare Medical Group Oldsmar's primary care physicians offer the first point of contact for patients with an undiagnosed health concern, continued care for a variety of health conditions, yearly physical exams, and preventive medicine. I have struggled to find a primary care physician that I've been happy with since I moved to the area several years ago so I am thrilled to say that I finally found that practice. My first appointment was about a year ago and since then I have switched my entire family over (including my children and elderly mother in law with whom has severe health issues) to Tara Dixon, Nurse Practitioner. She is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, personable and has taken the time to get to know each one of us and actually remembers who we are when we come to see her! I thought the days of having that "family" doctor were long gone but happy to say that is what you will get with Tara....read full review
