About Okeechobee Health Care Facility

However, some concerns have been raised about staffing levels. There are not enough CNAs to meet the needs of all patients, leading to overworked staff and a lack of supplies. Additionally, some criticize the quality of food, stating it is unhealthy and unappetizing. Family members have also noted that the number of functioning hoya lifts is insufficient, and repairs are not timely.
I just wanted to take a moment to recognize an outstanding Doctor physical therapist who truly made a difference in my mom’s recovery. When my mom was at OHCF, we were fortunate to find out that he would also be her physical therapist during her rehab stay. That continuity of care meant a lot to us.
From day one, he was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. He took the time to understand her condition and pushed her just the right amount to help her improve without overwhelming her. His knowledge and dedication really showed in every session.

I visit my friend at the facility.I have known her for 50 years.She needs to be with people,not at home alone.She loves it there.Everyone is so nice to me when I visit.

We stopped by Okeechobee Health Care Facility without calling ahead-unannounced. The building looks older from the outside, but inside it was very clean and orderly. The staff we passed in the halls were professional and busy with their care. Overall, it made a very good impression on us. If you’re considering a place for a loved one, it’s worth dropping in to see for yourself. - a place where people really care.
