About Sit Means Sit Dog Training Ocoee/Winter Garden

Sit Means Sit Dog Training in Ocoee/Winter Garden is a highly recommended dog training facility. Their trainers are praised for their dedication and ability to train dogs effectively while preserving their personality. The establishment has made a positive impact on several dogs, including one named Koda who used to bark and pull on walks. After training, Koda now listens better, barks less, and enjoys group classes. We just finished up our 1 vs 1 training at the Longwood location and we have had nothing but a positive experience. From the day we came in the first time, to 6 lessons later, our dog has changed for the positive. Excellent trainers, and a nice indoor facility. They were always there to answer our questions thoroughly. Would recommend to everyone.

We can’t say enough good things about Sit Means Sit! The facility is always spotless and welcoming, which immediately gave us peace of mind. The trainers are incredibly experienced, patient, and truly the best at what they do. You can tell they genuinely care about every dog and their progress. What really sets them apart is the continual guidance and support. Training doesn’t just stop after class — they’re there to answer questions, offer advice, and make sure both you and your dog feel confident moving forward. If you’re looking for knowledgeable trainers, a clean and professional environment, and ongoing support every step of the way, Sit Means Sit is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend! 🐾

My Ragu 🐶 is a 3 year old Belgian Malanois and Shepard mix. His goal in life is sitting in the back patio of our fenced in yard observing his kingdom and to catch any squirrel 🐿️ that dares to to forage in the yard or climb the loan palm tree in the center of the back yard. Once chased up the tree he will jump and climb literally 15” high and go nonstop. When we first got him as a rescue I couldn’t open the back door without him busting it open to chase squirrels he saw outside through the windows. He was just as crazy on our 2x per day 3 mile walks (in cooler weather) with squirrels and other dogs we would come across. Going to a brewery /restaurant with outside seating after a hike was embarrassing with Ragu. He couldn’t behave with other dogs around and I constantly had to be in the lookout and get away with him until coast was clear. FYI… a prong collar immediately stopped the pulling but prior to Sit Means Sit Orlando it didn’t resolve the aggressiveness towards those stimuli on walks. Ali and I made the decision to place him in the 10 day boarding / training and made determined goal to do our required daily training. We attended every training after boarding so we could be trained and now attend every group training once a week. We made copies of the weekly home training schedule and now have our own whiteboard calendar tracking what we do each week and the frequency per day. Here are the results: 1.) Ragu sits at door waiting for the “break” command to exit. This goes for feeding time as well. 2.) we are in group class in a room with 15 other dogs. Never thought possible. He still needs work but I can do training exercises off leash as I have trust and confidence. He’s still focused on the unruly dogs and small dogs (I swear he thinks they are squirrels). 3.) I can walk 3 miles every morning OFF-LEASH. Squirrels on walks are not a distraction whatsoever. Dogs are still getting his attention but it’s only “small dogs” or no behaving dogs causing a scene. 4.) we can enjoy going places with Ragu that have outside seating.
