About Tesla Supercharger

Tesla Supercharger, located on Alligator Alley about 35 miles west of Fort Lauderdale, serves as a convenient charging option for travelers between the east and west coasts of Florida. The station features a small convenience store and Dunkin, with clean and well-maintained restrooms. However, it has faced frequent power issues, with a significant outage lasting over 18 hours on February 18, 2024, which left multiple vehicles stranded. While it is appreciated for its location and maintenance, some users recommend charging elsewhere if possible due to reliability concerns. Despite these issues, it remains a useful stop for Tesla drivers crossing Alligator Alley.

Pretty quiet place. With good planning it is a great stop. Shops open 24/7 and nearby. That’s very important. I’m surprised that when it’s empty it achieves the maximum loading speed. And he kept it for a long time.

There was a 30-min + wait at this charger. Cars were cueing down the lane and right onto the main road just to get in the charging area. This is the middle of nowhere so there isn't any other choice for charging. Plan ahead for a wait if you are on a schedule.

12 stations working & available for charging Tesla. Walking distance clean bathrooms, gas station, Casino & Dunkin Donuts & Glades Cafe. No charging station along I-75 for other EV's. Would be great to add charging stations for non-Tesla EV cars here...there's plenty of room.
Tesla needs to add this stop to their app as it's not listed.
