They placed the ashes in the urn and in jewelry, and set up everything so beautifully, including having the military come and do honors. They did a great job of explaining everything and putting minds at ease. Roberts of Ocala West Chapel is dedicated to providing a smooth and respectful experience, making it a trustworthy and recommended choice. The staff’s warmth and attention to detail make a difficult time more manageable. I am very grateful for our experience with Marie at Roberts of Ocala Funeral Home. My father's wishes were to have a natural green burial at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville, and Roberts of Ocala handled the caring of, storing and transportation of his body. Marie personally wrapped my father in his shroud/blanket, and did such a beautiful job. She was with us the entire time and provided so much comfort throughout the service, as well as provided photos and videos for keepsakes of our experience. We could not be happier with their inclusion, and I'm so grateful that everyone honored my father's wishes and body with such dignity and respect. This is the absolute best place for planning and funeral services, customer services and overall ease during difficult times. Stephen Solomon is a pleasure to work with, as he is very compassionate and takes his time to answer each and every question. Mr. Solomon has over 30 years in this business, and knows what to do, how to do it and when to do it. My parents (Dad 95 & Mom 75) had moved a few times and changed their "plans" several times. These plans had been bought & sold several times, and to say that things were confusing is a large understatement !!! Going through their multiple folders of paperwork from places that have been closed or sold, was a nightmare. Mr. Solomon said "Send me what you have & I will take care of everything." It took him several days of research and phone calls, but he finally found everything that was needed, and my parents "Plans" are all set. Without Mr. Solomon's assistance, all of their pre-paid and pre-arranged plans would have been for not, as navigating this maze wasn't easy even for him and all of his experience. He was truly a blessing, and I couldn't imagine trying to do any of this "After", with all of the grief, and with all the confusion of different places. I whole heartedly recommend Mr. Solomon and Roberts Funeral Home (East), as he and his staff will ensure that all difficulties are mitigated as best as possible.
